nPAE 2020 World Champion Astro Photographer

Following the voting show down on Facebook, we are delighted to announce the nPAE 2020 World Champion Astro Photographer is Boris from Chile with Pink Floyd Grito Galactico! Many congratulations.

There were two excellent entries in contention for the award. Firstly the Jellyfish nebula by Gaëtan which won the Northern Hemisphere competition back in May. Secondly The Pink Floyd Grito Galactico by Boris which won the Southern in October.

The voting was conducted exclusively on the Facebook nPAE page. The winning position changed hands a couple of times between Boris and Gaëtan during the 12 days of voting. It was a very close with Boris winning it on the last day of voting.

The final score at midnight on the 1st of November was Boris: 125 likes and Gaëtan: 98 likes.

Well done Boris! You can proudly tell everyone you are the nPAE 2020 World Champion Astro Photographer!

The nPAE Astrophotography Competition will return in the Northern Hemisphere in January 2021.
