Feedback and redesign

Took the aluminium prototype to a starparty and got some good feedback. Everyone was interested in the design and had suggestions for features and changes. Using the information from all the people we talked to we have decided to switch to 3 versions of the turret.

• Smaller one for smaller scopes. This version will hold six 1.25″ eyepieces, have either a 1.25″ or 2″ nose and the body will be ABS plastic.
• Medium one for medium scopes. This version will hold three 2″ and three 1.25″ eyepieces, have a 2″ nose and be made from Aluminium.
• Large one for large scopes/small observatories. This version will hold four or five 2″ eyepieces and one or two 3″ eyepieces and be made from a Magnesium Alloy.

All the versions still use a 1/10th wave mirror and follow the same KISS design principle to ensure quality no matter what level of hobbyist they are used by. Time to go design 3 new turrets!
