BAA Winchester Weekend and Hidden Freebie Winner

nPAE Precision Astro Engineering was privileged to be invited to the British Astronomical Association’s Winchester Weekend 2019 event. We were pleased to demonstrate our 6061 Eyepiece Turret, Theia90 Star Diagonal and Theia magnetic filter changer, alongside AWR Technologies and Newbury and Crayford Manor astro societies to the best and brightest of British astronomy. We also gave all the delegates a free carbon fibre pen.

Talking about free stuff, how many people found the “Hidden Freebie” inside the 2019 annual calendar?! Congratulations to Elliott for spotting it. nPAE rewards the observant.

On Our Theia 90 Star Diagonal
“First impressions of the diagonal itself are very favourable, looking like a solid and well-engineered piece of equipment.“ “Using Jupiter and a third quarter Moon, I evaluated scatter around the object which can diminish the visibility of low contrast surface features.
